If a foreigner got married to ROC citizen, he/she should declare to use the Chinese name for marriage registration in Taiwan. The Chinese name should meet the conventions practiced in Taiwan. The foreign spouse without household register in Taiwan and not being naturalized can apply to change his/her Chinese name one time.
